Our little monkey is now seven months!! It seems like it was only yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital with not a clue as to how much our life was about to change. I am happy to report that the "Ferber" method of sleep is still a great success! Most nights, Henri goes to sleep by 7:30 and remains snug in his bed till about 4:00 am. I feed him and off to dreamland he goes :-). His menu is increasing as we now feed him peas, carrots, pears, bananas, and green beans. I have yet to make my own baby food as I had originally planned, but maybe I will change my mind and become motivated.
Now that Henri is sitting up we have lowered the crib. Well, to my surprise Henri is also standing!! My mom babysat Henri yesterday and while she was watching him she decided to put him in the laundry basket we keep downstairs for his toys. He promptly pulled himself up to a standing position while in his basket. When I came home from work I caught a few pictures...too cute for words. It is amazing how fast he is growing!

he is adorable. definitely hamming it up for the camera! we need to have a play group for our kiddos. they'd have a blast now.
