It is already October and our kitchen is STILL not finished. We decided to refinish the hardwood floors on the ENTIRE first floor....this meant we needed to move everything out of the first floor. While everything was moved out I couldn't resist the opportunity to have JP re-paint the whole downstairs. We have been out of our house for 3 weeks now!! We have been living between my mom's and my in-laws. Henri and JP sleep at his parent's house and I sleep at my house with AJ.....my in-laws and mom live about 30 minutes further away from where I work making my daily commute about an hour and 30 minutes each way....needless to say I have not been a happy camper!
Chaos is coming to an end, as we have finally moved back home, just in time for Halloween!! We still do not have a stove-top, but we have a fridge, stove and microwave so we are making it work!!
For Halloween, Henri and AJ were the three muskateers!! My mother-in-law is quite talented with a sewing machine and she made gorgeous costumes (even one for me and JP). Henri was a little shy at first, but by the third house he was quite comfortable saying "trick or treat." We went up and down the neighborhood and then came home to hand out candy. Henri and AJ had a great night!!
