Finally, the time has come to renovate our kitchen. I loved this house from the minute I saw it....however I knew from the moment we moved in that eventually we would need to renovate the kitchen. For starters, nothing is standard size. The island is far to close to the counter behind it and the cabinets are so low that I can't fit anything underneath them. The placement of our appliances is all wrong. We have our oven right up against our refrigerator, causing the fridge to work harder to stay cool. But, mostly the kitchen is just too small due to a wall dividing the dinning room and the kitchen. Well, ALL of that is going to change with the first phase of our renovation....DEMO Day!! Wahoo.
