It is amazing how much time you have to plan and make arrangements for life events when you have only one child. I remember when Henri was a baby thinking, "my life is so difficult now." What was I complaining about!!! Now that I have two sweet boys it seems that everything takes longer. I had full intentions of christening AJ soon after his birth, but the idea of planning a party and making all the arrangements overwhelmed me, so here we are several months after his birth and we are finally having him baptized. To make my life a whole lot easier we kept all the arrangements short and sweet. We only invited immediate family, Henri's Godparents and my grandparents. Our reception was at the Publick House and it was perfect.
AJ was well behaved and didn't cry at all when the water was poured over his head. Henri on the other hand, was a different story. He literally ran through the church like a wild man causing Meme and Grammie to chase after him. Robert stood in as Godfather (Ben was in North Carolina) and Matante Nicole is the Godmother.
