Christmas was both wonderful and magical this year. It has become a yearly tradition to spend Christmas Eve with JP's family. We all had a wonderful time! Henri really "got it" this year and when we got home on Christmas Eve he was very excited to leave milk and cookies for Santa as well as a carrot for the reindeer. This was the first year since we have been married that JP didn't have to work on Christmas day, so that made the holiday that much more special. Henri and AJ both woke early and we opened presents. Henri was overjoyed to see a tent in his playroom, along with his very own activity table and toy chest from Santa. He also got his very own digital camera! AJ got some fun toys too. His favorite toy is his lamb from Uncle Paul...so soft.
The day couldn't have been better. I had invited my grandparent's for dinner (they rarely say yes) and I was THRILLED that they decided to join us. My brother Rob, and mom also spent the day. This year is the first year that I didn't see my brother Ben on Christmas. He was spending time with a friend in North Carolina. My dinner came out perfect....turns out cooking a ham isn't difficult at all. Everyone stayed till about 6:30 and then we spent the evening relaxing with the boys. What a great Christmas!!
