I have to admit, I have been a little obsessed with the fact that my sweet baby boy does not have any teeth. Many of my friends who have babies have started to notice teeth popping through. Well, I am excited to report that we've hit the jackpot!! I was changing Henri yesterday and as he tilted his head back and opened his mouth to smile at the light above I noticed two distinct white spots on his top gums. I immediately grabbed his face and bent down for a closer look. Sure enough, he has two front teeth that have slightly broken the surface of his gums...but wait...all my baby books say that the bottom two teeth are the first to arrive. I went on the web for a bit more research, it's true the bottom two teeth always arrive first. I'm not so sure what to make of the situation. Maybe Henri's bottom two teeth will sprout up and out before the top two full descend? Normal or not, I am over the moon to finally have some pearly whites on my sweet babe. I will be sure to post a pic when they are in full view :-)
You are too funny. It is amazing how much we all obsess and worry about the silliest stuff. Glad to know that Henri is continuing to fall within the realm of "normal." Can't wait to see you both tomorrow.
