So, with a nudge from my friend, Kara (quite possibly the only person who reads my blog on a regular basis) I have mustered up the motivation to upload some pictures from April vacation. This vacation was much more relaxed than February break. Henri and I spent most of our days relaxing at home or at my mom's house. My in-laws came over for dinner on Sunday. I made squash casserole and JP made a Rachel Ray chicken and mushroom recipe, it was delicious.
Of course I had a list of about a hundred things I wanted to accomplish around the house, but I was only able to get a fraction of my "to dos" accomplished. Among them was to purchase new curtains for the sun room and the living room....well several hundred dollars latter (yes I said hundred!!) I was able to cross that off my list. Of course, in order to hang my new curtains my husband needed a new state of the art cordless Dewalt Drill. So my husband was happy with his drill and I am happy with my curtains. We went with a stripe in the living room. I was worried it would look a bit circus like, but I think they're ok.
So, back to school for the last haul before summer vacation... I am counting EVERY day!!
