This weekend was packed!! Saturday Henri's godparents, my aunt and uncle, came over. My Uncle Mike is quite talented at refinishing old furniture and I have been anxious for him to help JP rejuvenate our dining room table. My brother Rob stopped by too and I quickly solicited his help in weeding and mulching my front lawn. Just before we all headed outside to tackle our projects, my mom arrived. Thankfully she and my Aunt Sally took Henri for a walk in the stroller so that I could help my bro with the weeding. I never realized how tedious and back breaking weeding can be!! I wasn't much help because my mom and Aunt returned after about 30 minutes so I had to tend to Henri. Rob finished ALL the weeding, edging, and mulching! He had to run to Lowe's to pick up some weed killer and more mulch, but after a hard day of work he finished. JP and Uncle Mike worked ALL day at refinishing the table. It looks AMAZING! The pictures really don't do it justice. As all the work was just about wrapping up my brother Ben and his girlfriend stopped by. We finished the day with delicious dogs, and BBQ chicken on the grill :-) I also made some macaroni salad (I'll start my diet this week).

Today, JP, Henri, and I headed to my in-laws house for a family get together. JP's Aunt and two Uncles were there along with a family friend. My mother-in-law outdid herself with delicious hors'derves and a to die for seafood lasagna! Henri was such a good little boy. He had his first taste of garlic bread - he is definitely a fan! Poor guy didn't get his afternoon nap, but as soon as we hit the road he was fast asleep. Let's keep our fingers crossed that he will sleep through the whole night....our house is like a sauna :-(
