Henri turned 10 months this week and today he started walking!! It happened this morning before I went to work. JP and I were sitting on the floor in the living room and Henri was cruising along the couch. I reached out my arms for him and he walked two short steps on his own toward me....hooray!! I have been so worried that I would be at work and miss this gigantic milestone. It couldn't have happened at a better time - both mommy and daddy got to see our sweet baby's very first steps! When I got home this afternoon Henri was eager to practice his new moves. He feels most comfortable starting over by the couch and then he lets go and walks towards me. He treated it like a game and kept going back to the couch, walking to me and then crawling back to the couch to do it again. I grabbed my cell phone and was able to get this priceless shot...enjoy! (not sure why the voice didn't come out on the video)
Yaaaayyyyyy, Henri!!! How exciting! So glad you were both able to see those steps. Very cute.
