This past week has been my February vacation and boy did we jam pack it full of fun times for Henri....Our marathon week of play dates began on Valentine's Day. Great Grampa turned 82 so we went over to celebrate with some delicious pineapple cake :-) Henri stayed with Grammie so mommy and daddy could go out for a scrumptious Valentine's Day dinner. On Monday, Henri's girlfriend, Lucy, came over for a visit. She greeted him with a smile and a lick and thus began their friendship. On Tuesday we took Henri to see Meme, Pepe, and Aunt Nicole. Wednesday was full of fun for Henri. My friend Janine with her two kids, Alessandra and Mikey came over along with Lauren and her little boy Colin...Andrea joined us as well. Henri was overwhelmed with all of the activity. I took my eyes off of him for a moment and when I found him he was in the corner with Colin's bottle sucking away...real milk...oops. Thursday it was off to girlfriend Chloe's house for lunch and playtime. And finally, Friday we enjoyed a fabulous home cooked meal at Chris and Kara's house. The babes were so cute together. Henri loved all of the toys and especially enjoyed giving Mya open mouthed kisses! With such a hectic week I think we will spend the rest of the weekend resting up...a boy can only take so much fun!
OH, forgot to mention Henri had his first taste of formula on Tuesday. He took two sips, grabbed the bottle and chucked it across the room. Henri definitely does not like Similac, however tonight he tried some of Mya's Enfamil and chugged down a whole bottle and then some...maybe adding some formula to his diet will help him sleep better.
