Our little man is growing so fast. He is now too heavy and too long for his baby trend car seat. Before Christmas break I ordered a Recaro car seat from diapers.com and it arrived before Christmas!! After an afternoon of frustration and lots of swears, JP finally had the seat installed in our highlander. I took Henri out several times this week and he absolutely loves his new "big boy" seat!
Henri is doing much better with solid foods. We have now tasted peas, green beans, peaches and pears. He likes the pears best and tolerates the others. He still prefers to get most of his calories from mama's milk. I am hoping that he starts to eat more and more as we introduce new flavors. I decided to start him off with a sippy cup to see how he would do. When we give him a bottle he likes to hold it himself so I figured it might be an easy transition. I was right. He took to the sippy cup like a pro. The only problem is that he doesn't like what I am putting in it. For now I have been putting in water, but I am sure once we switch over to juice in a month or two, he will enjoy it far more.
